-How is Newcare used?
Unless prescribed otherwise, adults take one capsule three times daily. Swallow whole with a little liquid.

-How long should I take Newcare?
The mean duration of treatment should be 3 to 6 months. At least, Newcare should be taken 3 months.

-After 3 to 6 months of good results with Newcare, how long more do I have to continue using it? Or do I have to stop and see?
To achieve lasting success and to keep hair beautiful over time, Newcare should be used regularly for prolonged periods of time every 6 to 12 months.

-Why do I have to wait until 3 months to see the effect of Newcare?
The hair roots in our scalp constantly build new cells. Only these can be influenced through the intake of Newcare. As hair growth is about 1 cm per months, it takes approximately 3 months until effects can be seen.

-If I take the double dosage of Newcare do I get more effect?
The recommended dosage of 3 capsules daily was proven in numerous clinical studies. Therefore, taking a double dosage is not reasonable.

-If I forgot one capsule in the day (e.g., at lunch), do I have to double the next dosage (e.g. at dinner)?
No. Just skip the forgotten intake and go ahead as usual.

-Can children take Newcare?
Because no specific scientific tests on children are available, it is not recommended to use Newcare under an age of 12.

-What is the maximum period of time in which Newcare could be used?
Newcare is well tolerated and therefore ideally suitable for long-term treatment.

-Instead of one capsule 3 times daily, may I take for example 2 capsules in the morning and one at night with the same efficacy in the treatment?
Among other ingredients, Newcare contains water-soluble B-vitamins. These can only be stored by the body in limited amounts. Therefore, an intake several times a day could be more efficient than taking all 3 capsules at once.

-Can men also take Newcare ?
Yes, Newcare can also be taken by men. However, men mostly suffer from androgenetic alopecia and not from diffuse alopecia. The focus of Newcare treatment is female diffuse alopecia.

-What about the intake during pregnancy?
During pregnancy it is recommended that Newcare be used only from the second half on. In all cases it is recommended to ask your doctor before taking any medicines during pregnancy.

-Can I take Newcare during lactation?
No side effects are known regarding ingestion during lactation.

-Can I take Newcare with hot drinks?
Because micronutrients are very sensitive to heat, we recommend to swallow the capsules with cold drinks.

-Does the intake of Newcare cause weight gain?
No. The calorific value of one capsule of Newcare is 2.0 KJ or 0.5 kcal. The daily dosage is 6.0 KJ or 1.5 kcal. In comparison, a 100 g apple has a calorific value of 227 KJ or 53 kcal.

-Does Newcare stimulate the growth of the body hair?
No, Newcare has no influence on the growth of body hair.

-Are there any side effects associated with long-term usage of Newcare?
Newcare is well tolerated and therefore ideally suitable for long-term treatment.

-Is there any medicine interaction?
At present, there are no interactions known.

-Are there any interactions known with the additional intake of vitamin preparations?
At present, there are no interactions known.

-Does Newcare have any side effects?
In general not if there is no hypersensitivity against one of the Newcare ingredients.

Efficacy

-What is the difference of Newcare versus multivitamins?
Newcare contains a well-balanced combination of essential active ingredients for the supply of the hair root to increase hair growth and to improve hair structure. The efficacy of Newcare has been demonstrated in numerous clinical studies.

-Why does Newcare also has a favorable effect on nails?
Newcare contains essential active ingredients for the building of keratin. Keratin is one of the main components of nails.

-Can Newcare treat hair loss occurring during breast feeding?
There are no specific studies available. However, especially during lactation, a higher nutritional requirement can be expected. Newcare contains essential active ingredients for the supply of the hair root to increase hair growth and to improve hair structure.

-Is there any smaller sustaining dose of Newcare that could be used after the full course of treatment?
The recommended dosage of 3 capsules could prove its efficacy in numerous clinical studies. Regarding this matter, a dosage reduction does not seem to be reasonable.
